Thorn_the_Gnoll: Moving into the eye of the storm, time for the sneak roll. Thorn_the_Gnoll: 1d20+10 Fortuna: Thorn_the_Gnoll, 1d20+10: [16] = 26 Thorn_the_Gnoll: I'm guessing I'm silent as a gnollish ninja with a grapple hook in the midst of a storm squall in darkness. Igfig: quite successful Igfig: yes Thorn_the_Gnoll: The guy has concealment though so while I have combat advantage, no bonus to hitting him. Thorn_the_Gnoll: 1d20+4 Fortuna: Thorn_the_Gnoll, 1d20+4: [1] = 5 Lucas_Strongbow: Come on now Lucas_Strongbow: This is silly Far-Walker: d20? Igfig: paaaaaaaaah Thorn_the_Gnoll: On the bright side he doesn't know I'm here. Thorn_the_Gnoll: Maybe. Igfig: Fortuna, this is not cool Igfig: Yes, let's say he doesn't know Igfig: because yeah Thorn_the_Gnoll: Seriously. Igfig: Okay. Lucas Thorn_the_Gnoll: Hmm.... Igfig: or is thirn still going Lucas_Strongbow: What cards do we have again? Thorn_the_Gnoll: I still have my minor, I'm wondering if I can set something crazy up. Thorn_the_Gnoll: I have two grapple hooks after all. Igfig: dunno Thorn_the_Gnoll: I'm thinking attaching the second grapple hook to the other end of the rope, and pull something similar to that spiked chain weapon, but I don't know if that'd actually do anything for me. Thorn_the_Gnoll: Or dual wielding a pair of grappling hook ropes, I have the rope for that. Igfig: That would be a pair of cahulaks, specifically Igfig: You should totally go for the Cahulaks Training feat sometime Thorn_the_Gnoll: I'll have to look that up. Igfig: but right now, that would be pretty difficult to use Thorn_the_Gnoll: I'm guessing that it isn't a weapon my class would give me proficiency in. Vess: I could use it if you gave it to me. Thorn_the_Gnoll: You're unconscious. Vess: no im not Vess: I was making that up Brigsby: oh Thorn_the_Gnoll: Oh. Thorn_the_Gnoll: That gives me an idea. Igfig: you'd need a feat for it Vess: I'm an arena fighter, I can use anything. though it would be considered improvised Igfig: that's true Thorn_the_Gnoll: Hmmm... Lucas_Strongbow: do new cards Thorn_the_Gnoll: Can I throw the grapple hook end of my rope to Vess as a minor action? Holding on to this end, I have 50-100 feet of rope. Igfig: sure Thorn_the_Gnoll: I toss Vess the grapple hook end of my rope so that on her turn she can stab it into the guy for me, or at least try. Thorn_the_Gnoll: Holding on to my end of the rope. Thorn_the_Gnoll: Also: Thorn_the_Gnoll: Mulligan hand please. Fortuna: Thorn_the_Gnoll drew a new hand. Fortuna: Thorn_the_Gnoll drew CRAFTY STRIKE (U) Fortuna: Play when your at-will or encounter attack power hits an enemy granting you combat advantage. You gain a +4 bonus to the power's damage roll against the enemy. Fortuna: Thorn_the_Gnoll drew STRONGER TOGETHER (R) Fortuna: Play when you make an attack on your turn. You gain a bonus to the attack roll of that attack equal to the number of allies adjacent to you. Fortuna: Thorn_the_Gnoll drew RISKY MOVE (U) Fortuna: Play at the start of your turn. Once as a Move action during this turn, you can shift up to your speed. At the end of this shift, roll d20. On a result of 9 or lower, you fall prone Igfig: That it then? Thorn_the_Gnoll: Yup, me hiding, Vess holding my grapple hook for the moment, and a new hand. Thorn_the_Gnoll: Me still holding on to the rope additionaly. Igfig: ok Igfig: Lucacs! Lucas_Strongbow: play Risky Move please Fortuna: Lucas_Strongbow played RISKY MOVE (U) Fortuna: Play at the start of your turn. Once as a Move action during this turn, you can shift up to your speed. At the end of this shift, roll d20. On a result of 9 or lower, you fall prone Fortuna: Lucas_Strongbow drew WEAR THEM DOWN (R) Fortuna: Play when an ally misses an target with an at-will attack power. That target takes damage equal to 2+one-half your level. Lucas_Strongbow: I will shift to somewhere where I have line of sight on cursething Lucas_Strongbow: 1d20 Fortuna: Lucas_Strongbow, 1d20: [3] = 3 Lucas_Strongbow: and fall down Far-Walker: ha Igfig: wait, why did you do that? Lucas_Strongbow: what's the ranged penalty when prone, =2? Igfig: yes Lucas_Strongbow: There's monster next to me Far-Walker: But you look more badass, I guess Igfig: the beast just slows you Igfig: it doesn't make OAs Lucas_Strongbow: ... Igfig: oh, wait Igfig: heh Lucas_Strongbow: That would have been handy to know Igfig: I guess you wouldn't be able to go that far without the card anyway though, being slowed and all Lucas_Strongbow: anyway, Aimed Shot on Hex! Lucas_Strongbow: 1d20+8 Fortuna: Lucas_Strongbow, 1d20+8: [6] = 14 Lucas_Strongbow: I'm not gonna lie, this has not been a good turn Igfig: this is stupid Igfig: these rolls Igfig: Fortuna, you are being a bad person. Lucas_Strongbow: looking back at the last few rolls, we've had 6, 3, 1, 16, 8, 10, 7, 3, and 1 Igfig: hmm Igfig: 1d20 Fortuna: Igfig, 1d20: [14] = 14 Igfig: 1d20 Fortuna: Igfig, 1d20: [1] = 1 Igfig: 1d20 Fortuna: Igfig, 1d20: [8] = 8 Igfig: 1d20 Fortuna: Igfig, 1d20: [7] = 7 Igfig: 1d20 Fortuna: Igfig, 1d20: [10] = 10 Igfig: 5#1d20 Fortuna: Igfig, 1d20: [7] = 7; 1d20: [3] = 3; 1d20: [1] = 1; 1d20: [11] = 11; 1d20: [17] = 17 Far-Walker: Jesus Lucas_Strongbow: the 1s... Vess: thats 3 out of 10 Vess: over 10 Igfig: 5#1d20 Fortuna: Igfig, 1d20: [9] = 9; 1d20: [11] = 11; 1d20: [12] = 12; 1d20: [10] = 10; 1d20: [3] = 3 Igfig: 5#1d20 Fortuna: Igfig, 1d20: [14] = 14; 1d20: [2] = 2; 1d20: [18] = 18; 1d20: [19] = 19; 1d20: [20] = 20 Thorn_the_Gnoll: I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume this is Waffle's fault somehow, like when he rolled those dice which cannot be rolled. Igfig: that' Igfig: s more reasonable Igfig: so I think it's Brigsby's turn, yeah? Lucas_Strongbow: eiter way, I end my turn flat on my face, having missed Brigsby: yes Brigsby: I'll move the storm into the hexer's zone Thorn_the_Gnoll: Eye of the storm on Vess. Brigsby: Vess at the eye, yes Brigsby: Sustain minor Brigsby: play stronger together please Fortuna: Brigsby played STRONGER TOGETHER (R) Fortuna: Play when you make an attack on your turn. You gain a bonus to the attack roll of that attack equal to the number of allies adjacent to you. Fortuna: Brigsby drew GAMBLERS DODGE (C) Fortuna: Play when you take damage. Roll a d20. On a roll of 10 or higher, you take half the normal damage. On a 9 or lower you take extra damage equal to your level. Brigsby: Thunder Slam against the shadow beasty thing Vess: (you don't need to hit that) Brigsby: er, I don't? Far-Walker: Far-Walker high-fives Brigs for the Stronger Together card Thorn_the_Gnoll: He'll just resummon it if it dies again. Igfig: yeah, he'll just re-evoke it next turn Brigsby: okay, I won't use my encounter then Brigsby: Storm Walk Brigsby: 1d20+8 Fortuna: Brigsby, 1d20+8: [6] = 14 Brigsby: vs fort Brigsby: and I'll shift Igfig: miss Brigsby: okay Far-Walker: play wear them down please Fortuna: Far-Walker played WEAR THEM DOWN (R) Fortuna: Play when an ally misses an target with an at-will attack power. That target takes damage equal to 2+one-half your level. Fortuna: Far-Walker drew STAND BY ME (U) Fortuna: Play during your turn. Until the start of your next turn, you gain a bonus to AC equal to the number of allies adjecent to you. Igfig: hmm Brigsby: he takes three damage Far-Walker: Yep Igfig: 14 total Igfig: ... Igfig: I think he's just going to go wander off now Vess: Can I just get a hit on him? Vess: just.. Vess: a second hit for the night Igfig: oh, right... Vess: I mean christ Brigsby: oh, shadowhexer takes 4 damage Igfig: before he wanders off Lucas_Strongbow: No, we can kill him! Thorn_the_Gnoll: I'd rather we keep wailing on him then just have him go off. Vess: we can't kill him Vess: shut up Igfig: he hits you with his staff Vess: we will all die Vess: dammit Igfig: 1d20+9 vs AC Fortuna: Igfig, vs AC: [18] = 27 Vess: I died Far-Walker: HAHAHAHAHA Thorn_the_Gnoll: This is Castle Cocklove, side thing. Igfig: 1d8+7 and you are slid 1 square Fortuna: Igfig, and you are slid 1 square: [3] = 10 Vess: I died Thorn_the_Gnoll: Though I'm keeping the hobgoblin spine, but still. Lucas_Strongbow: So that's what an 18 looks like Vess: no that was a one and an 8 Igfig: you're unconscious, not dead Igfig: also Vess: you know there are no numbers above 10 Igfig: the thing is Igfig: this isn't a matter of "me having him wander off because I'm bored" Thorn_the_Gnoll: Oh no I didn't think it was cause you were bored. Thorn_the_Gnoll: I figured it was more of a mercy thing. Far-Walker: We thought it was because Fortuna is a bitch Fortuna: I beg your pardon? Igfig: it's "he's leaving because he got what he came here for and you guys aren't doing much to stop him." Lucas_Strongbow: I thought it was because you pitied us Far-Walker: YOU HEARD ME Far-Walker: But anyway. Igfig: you might have noticed that you killed all his minions Vess: It took me three tries to break a piece of wood. Lucas_Strongbow: you are a halfling Thorn_the_Gnoll: How fast can he leave? Cause I would like to give the grapple hook a fourth try. Igfig: he doesn't need to kill you guys, so he won't Vess: I am a halfling that can swing a greataxe. Igfig: he has a speed of 6 Far-Walker: Jesus Thorn_the_Gnoll: I have a speed of 7. Lucas_Strongbow: I can have a speed of 8 Far-Walker: Far could keep up Far-Walker: And like puncture him Thorn_the_Gnoll: Just one last grapple hook try. Vess: I can have a speed of slowly rotting Brigsby: does that provoke an OA? Lucas_Strongbow: We are so utterly determined to kill this guy Far-Walker: I bet he can disaparate Vess: from my unconscious body? Igfig: I'm afraid he slipped away before you could grapple him Brigsby: we chased this guy all across this damned castle, I'm not giving up just because he ran away Igfig: you can chase him down the stairs, if oyu like Igfig: but he's not in range right now Far-Walker: Warning you about those stairs right now, bros. Thorn_the_Gnoll: I'm gonna give it one last go, just one. Lucas_Strongbow: I have 19 hp, I think we can do it Igfig: I think he has more hp left than all of you put together Vess: easily Igfig: anyway Vess: also he hits harder Thorn_the_Gnoll: If I miss, I'll stop, he can run off, we'll probably end up encountering him again later. Igfig: it's far's turn Vess: also he does aoe Igfig: he hits comparably Thorn_the_Gnoll: Right, not my turn yet, yar. Igfig: although he hits twice as much, being an elite Far-Walker: Far goes over to Count Cocklove and looks at him. Far-Walker: Because fuck the hex guy Igfig: The Count is alive, but he looks extremely haggard. Vess requires medical attention. Far-Walker: Oh yeah, crap Far-Walker: Heal check on Vess Brigsby: well, if the encounter is over, I'll use some surges to get my health up Far-Walker: 1d20+4 Fortuna: Far-Walker, 1d20+4: [10] = 14 Thorn_the_Gnoll: It's not quite over yet, I'm going for one last attempt. Igfig: DC 15 to stabilize, Far Igfig: so npe Vess: fuck Far-Walker: noooo Igfig: and thorn, go Far-Walker: Far's only watched episodes of House, sorry Vess: 1d20 Fortuna: Vess, 1d20: [17] = 17 Thorn_the_Gnoll: Kay, I'm not gonna bother with the map since this is one roll or it. Igfig: okay for now, vess Igfig: all right Far-Walker: GO FOR IT Thorn_the_Gnoll: I move after him to the staircase, stopping at a spot on it I can try to grapple hook him from. Igfig: Okay Far-Walker: WOO Far-Walker cheers Thorn_the_Gnoll: Technically I was still hidden, I moved a lot though so what is my stealth penalty? Igfig: Does anybody here have Perform? Thorn_the_Gnoll: _5? Thorn_the_Gnoll: -5> Igfig: -5, yeah Brigsby: I have perform Lucas_Strongbow: 10 Thorn_the_Gnoll: 1d20+5 Fortuna: Thorn_the_Gnoll, 1d20+5: [1] = 6 Thorn_the_Gnoll: He knows I'm coming so no combat advantage. Igfig: ....welp, nothing can help that Igfig: right Thorn_the_Gnoll: 1d20+4 Fortuna: Thorn_the_Gnoll, 1d20+4: [11] = 15 Thorn_the_Gnoll: vs. Reflex Thorn_the_Gnoll: I don't think so. Igfig: sorry, no Brigsby: I want to scream with rage...musically Far-Walker: 20#1d20 Fortuna: Far-Walker, 1d20: [7] = 7; 1d20: [7] = 7; 1d20: [6] = 6; 1d20: [12] = 12; 1d20: [4] = 4; 1d20: [14] = 14; 1d20: [16] = 16; 1d20: [15] = 15; 1d20: [15] = 15; 1d20: [12] = 12; 1d20: [5] = 5; 1d20: [19] = 19; 1d20: [4] = 4; 1d20: [16] = 16; 1d20: [13] = 13; 1d20: [1] = 1; 1d20: [19] = 19; 1d20: [2] = 2; 1d20: [10] = 10; 1d20: [6] = 6 Igfig: Ref 16 Thorn_the_Gnoll: Alright, that's that then. Lucas_Strongbow: I'll try to heal Vess Lucas_Strongbow: 1d20+4 Fortuna: Lucas_Strongbow, 1d20+4: [1] = 5 Igfig: The Hexer escapes again, then. Vess: on far walker's 7th try he beat 15 Lucas_Strongbow: I mercy kill him Lucas_Strongbow: her Vess: 1d20 Fortuna: Vess, 1d20: [8] = 8 Vess: missed a save Igfig: aid another, guys Thorn_the_Gnoll: As the Shadow Hexer gets away, ducking out of the way of his grappling hook, Thorn stomps his feet in disgust and goes back to tend to the pack. Vess: please help me Thorn_the_Gnoll: Hell I'll try. Brigsby: Alright, I'll assist whoever's healing next Lucas_Strongbow: I rolled a 1, I leaned down and snapped your neck Vess: all together now Thorn_the_Gnoll: 1d20+1 Fortuna: Thorn_the_Gnoll, 1d20+1: [12] = 13 Brigsby: 1d20 heal Fortuna: Brigsby, heal: [11] = 11 Vess: everyone roll Far-Walker: 1d20+4 heal aid another Fortuna: Far-Walker, heal aid another: [6] = 10 Thorn_the_Gnoll: I think that's enough for the +2 to make mine work. Thorn_the_Gnoll: Maybe. Igfig: actually not quite Brigsby: that makes it 15, I think Vess: far walker Vess: you too Igfig: was brigsby aiding? Brigsby: yes Vess: yeah Igfig: aiding Thorn? Vess: yeah Brigsby: yes Igfig: Then yeah, that's a success Vess: yay Far-Walker: Yaaaaaaaaaaaay Brigsby: WOOO Igfig: Stabilized, finally Vess: I don't die Vess: the incompetence is breathtaking. Brigsby: I use lightning as a defibrilator Lucas_Strongbow: I walk over to Count Cocklove, compose myself and say Lucas_Strongbow: "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!?" Vess: Someone should probably roll a cleric. Far-Walker: The bug man puts a Hello Kitty bandage on Vess's arm. Igfig: Count Coklov moans Igfig: "He took it... he crushed it..." Vess: disturbingly enough, vess is the only one who isn't a regular. Far-Walker: Moaning is not a good sound coming from a guy named Coklov Igfig: "The penis..." Far-Walker: "What was it?" Lucas_Strongbow: ... Brigsby: I think Wilco has that, actually Lucas_Strongbow: He might be saying "the pen is", let the man finish Far-Walker: "Your penis?" Far-Walker: Far-Walker is glad that his reproductive organs are not a massive tactical disadvantage Igfig: "No, no. The penis. My great-grandfather's mummified penis. It was an heirloom of inestimable sentimental value... and he destroyed it." Vess: Why? Lucas_Strongbow: So? Brigsby: "What's the deal with the shitmonster downstairs? Lucas_Strongbow: I think the big question is, "Why is this entire castle so fucked?" Brigsby: it wasn't all that bad until the shitmonster Far-Walker: "Because it's Castle /Coklov/" Igfig: "It's all my fault. I should have let him kill me, before I allowed him to find the Gauntlet of Heartbreak." Far-Walker: "The Gauntlet of Heartbreak?" Thorn_the_Gnoll: "The black spiky gauntlet thing?" Brigsby: I pull out the bearskin rug and say, "Hey, how much will this thing sell for?" Lucas_Strongbow: Is he Bringin' on the Heartbreak? Lucas_Strongbow: Def leppard reference for y'all Igfig: "Yes, that. It's a powerful artifact, a relic of the god Bane. It draws on the power of love." Thorn_the_Gnoll: "Bane?" Far-Walker: "What is this thing called love?" Lucas_Strongbow: I take far to one side Lucas_Strongbow: Perform a series of horrendous mimes Lucas_Strongbow: and pat him on the back Far-Walker: "I thought that was called Saturday" Igfig: "Yes, Bane. God of conquest. Supposedly the Gauntlet was the physical embodiment of a military alliance between him and a powerful force of shadow." Lucas_Strongbow: And it was here, with the shit and the mummified penises Lucas_Strongbow: Not in a vault, or museum Thorn_the_Gnoll: "Why do you longer lived races always keep artifacts of doom around? Even the Butcher's Brood any doom devices they have tend to be recent acquisitions." Brigsby waves the bearskin rug, expecting an answer Igfig: "Specifically, if it is used to destroy the thing that a person loves most, it draws out that sentimental energy and presents it as an offering to creatures of shadow, who in return empower its bearer with their own natures." Igfig: "Speaking of sentimental value, what are you doing with my rug?" Lucas_Strongbow: And...you loved grandaddy's dick the most? Igfig: "I had... a complex childhood." Vess: ... Lucas_Strongbow: I backhand him Lucas_Strongbow: Right across the cheek Lucas_Strongbow: pimp slap Brigsby: "I'm... we saved you, so I'm taking it. Payment and all." Igfig: "Not like that!" Igfig: "Fine, if you must. I would have rewarded you, but you can have the rug instead." Lucas_Strongbow: Hang on, hang on Vess: reward us. Lucas_Strongbow: Thorn, intimidate this guy Thorn_the_Gnoll: 1d20+10 Fortuna: Thorn_the_Gnoll, 1d20+10: [12] = 22 Brigsby: "You can reward these guys, I just want the rug." Lucas_Strongbow: My big friend here doesn't take kindly to not being payed Igfig: "As for why the Gauntlet has here, it was long believed that Castle Coklov was the safest place for it Igfig: . Brigsby: Hey, intimidate? This isn't a situation for that. Diplomacy, at least Lucas_Strongbow: No, I've had it with this castle Lucas_Strongbow: I might burn it down Thorn_the_Gnoll: I got crap for that, could go with bluff. Igfig: Here, we are supposed to love and value all cocks equally, as the highest moral virtue." Brigsby: I've got a good diplomacy Thorn_the_Gnoll: "Then why doesn't the bear rug have one? Vess: I am every type of creeped out. Lucas_Strongbow: Do good cop bad cop Thorn_the_Gnoll: " Vess: I don't think I want to touch anything from this castle. Brigsby: "Okay, enough about cocks. Just tell us... where's the treasury?" Brigsby: 1d20+10 diplomacy Fortuna: Brigsby, diplomacy: [13] = 23 Igfig: "But I let my nostalgia get the better of me. I played favorites. And now... well, now that goblin has the Gauntlet." Lucas_Strongbow: Well, that's your problem Lucas_Strongbow: Unless Igfig: "The treasury? The basement." Lucas_Strongbow: You'd be willing to...hire us to get it back? Igfig: "No, that's everyone's problem." Igfig: "And yes, yes I would." Lucas_Strongbow: I say we do it Brigsby: I leave for the basement without another word Lucas_Strongbow: At the least, we'd get out of this castle Igfig: "Well, not back--I think Castle Coklov is no longer the safest place for this Igfig: . Thorn_the_Gnoll: I'll follow Brigsby muttering complaints about goblins, they're militaristic tendency, and the lack of good recipes for them. Lucas_Strongbow: So, do you want us to destroy it? Igfig: "Destroying it would be difficult. I would be satisfied with you finding a safer place to keep it hidden away for all time." Lucas_Strongbow: Like a volcano Far-Walker: "Like with us!" Lucas_Strongbow: Why am I brokering this deal, thorn's the manager Thorn_the_Gnoll: I wandered off for the treasury, complaining about how goblin's taste. Thorn is not in the mood to deal with humans who have a strange love of phallic anything. Lucas_Strongbow: Fair enough Igfig: "NOT with you! Not to cause offense, but for anyone not motivated by purest virtue, to wield the Gauntlet is to give yourself over to war and conquest. In an adventurer's hands... there's no telling what it might do." Lucas_Strongbow: Do we know anyone motivated by purest virtue? Vess: Give it to heronius, see what happens. Lucas_Strongbow: I was thinking that Brigsby: I could just put it in some sand, shoot the sand with lightning, and thus encase it in glass Thorn_the_Gnoll: He is very pure in his motivation for gold. Brigsby: so no one can wield it Far-Walker: Or we could put some cold spaghetti inside the gauntlet. Far-Walker: So no one wants to wear it Thorn_the_Gnoll: Or if we had anyone on good terms with the gods, I'm sure there'd be any number of good aligned gods who would love to destroy it or have it destroyed. Igfig: "Very well, go to the treasury. You may each select one work of art to take with you. Take them with my compliments." Lucas_Strongbow: Woah woah woah, I'm still interested in this gauntlet Lucas_Strongbow: What would you pay us if we made it safe? Thorn_the_Gnoll: I have a sudden feeling that Thorn is not gonna be pleased with the treasury. Vess: What does he mean by art? Lucas_Strongbow: Porn, probably Vess: You mean dicks? Brigsby: or gilded swords Lucas_Strongbow: other mummified.../appendages/ Vess: the hell use is a gilded sword? Brigsby: it's probably crazy expensive Igfig: "No, no. Collecting art is my hobby. Curating mummified penises--/that/ is my vocation." Thorn_the_Gnoll: The one weakness of someone with an extreme allergy to gold? Like those people that can't wear gold rings. Lucas_Strongbow: I punch him again Vess: Can I kill him? Lucas_Strongbow: Let's see Igfig: are you physically capable? Yeah, probably. Igfig: Should you? No, probably not. Brigsby: Brigsby would look baller as hell with a bear-fur cloak and an awesome, artfully crafted sword Lucas_Strongbow: How much would you pay us for the gauntlet? Lucas_Strongbow: The promise of it's safety Vess: That would be more of a sarcastic question. Far-Walker: He clearly means art depicting majestic stallions Igfig: "What I said. One work of art each." Vess: Fine, whatever. Lucas_Strongbow: We'll take it Igfig: I'll generate a list of treasure choices later, if you want to pick one Vess: k Brigsby: yay Igfig: or if you have an idea in mind of something you want, he probably has it Thorn_the_Gnoll: Also I'm going to go add that hobgoblin spine sans-head to my leather armor now. Vess: not particularly Igfig: in any case, each piece is worth 250 gp Vess: I sell mine Lucas_Strongbow: Same Thorn_the_Gnoll: Um, actually I have an idea. Brigsby: any kind of fancy jewelry or clothes? Vess: I have no appreciation for art of any type. Lucas_Strongbow: I'm saving up for better armor Thorn_the_Gnoll: What was that weapon you mentioned? Cathulka? Lucas_Strongbow: some magical space shit Igfig: there certainly is, Brigsby Lucas_Strongbow: Brigsby is all about the bling Brigsby: I'm getting a new wardrobe Lucas_Strongbow: Blingsby Igfig: No space shit, Lucas, because he doesn't know about that stuff Lucas_Strongbow: Oh i know Lucas_Strongbow: I'm saving up Igfig: Thorn, it was "cahulaks' Thorn_the_Gnoll: An, Dark Sun stuff. Thorn_the_Gnoll: Ah, not an, that's just weird. Igfig: I don't know if there's actually a "Cahulaks Training" feat Igfig: but if there were, it would be something like Thorn_the_Gnoll: There's a novice, expert, and specialist feat. Brigsby: is it a superior weapon? Igfig: yeah, those are boring though. Or at least, a bad deal. You should gain access to all three powers for the price of a single feat. Igfig: It is, yes Igfig: Anyway, "Cahulaks Training" would be like Thorn_the_Gnoll: Yeah I'm noticing, plus you have to exchange one of your powers for them. Brigsby: if it's a superior, you can just take Cahulaks proficiency feat or whatever Brigsby: should be in superior weapons proficiency feat list Vess: Can I change some of the powers on this character? Igfig: you gain cahulaks proficiency, plus you can use them as a light thrown weapon instead of a heavy thrown one, and maybe rogues/thieves can use them for powers that would normally require light blades Igfig: however, it would be a multiclass feat instead of a regular feat Lucas_Strongbow: Those dark sun weapons are quite cool Igfig: Vess, sure Far-Walker: Dark Sun is just cool Thorn_the_Gnoll: Alright, well, I'll copy and paste that into my thing, and I'll just take that for 4th level then. Vess: yay! its hard trying to get an open hand with this character. Igfig: Grappling Strike is a pretty cool power though. Igfig: Anyway, I think that's enough for tonight. Thorn_the_Gnoll: Grappling Strike looks like the thing I've been trying to do with my grapple hooks. Thorn_the_Gnoll: Anyways, looks like I'll be taking and selling the art unless that guy has enchanted cahulaks available. Thorn_the_Gnoll: Cahulaks are 25 gold to buy. Igfig: You've solved the mystery of Castle Cocklove, you've... well, just that really. Brigsby: I raid his wardrobe Igfig: Sure.
